A night in Bethlehem takes place in mid-December each year. It is a production using 70 - 80 different people from our congregation that include not only the choir, but actors, set builders, greeters, musicians, and shopkeepers as well. The message of Christ's birth and its relevance to our situation today is always the focus of the evening.
After the program, our guests are invited to tour "Bethlehem", a village that we set up complete with shops and activities for families. There are "authentic" foods available such as fruits and breads as well as sweets and other small snacks that are similar to what may have been eaten in Biblical times.
